Hey
everyone, welcome back! I bet your thinking its only been a week since
your last post... but as it's the Easter holidays, I'm taking as break
from school work and focusing on my blog.
I started the year with a Monthly Favourites post, however i didn't
manage keep it up,but now i do promise that they will be a regular
occurrence! So, lets jump right in...
Essie Nail Polish in 'Lights'
This was my first nail polish from Essie and is definitely the best one i own. It is a bright, neon pink with bluey
undertones. I find that all Essie polishes last about 5 days- complete
with a base and top coat, which is great for me because it means i don't
have to re-do it all the time or spend a long time painting them and
then find it chips the next day. I also find that the nail polish is
fast drying and very pigmented meaning i only need one coat of it.
Sally Hansen Hard as Nails base coat (Boots- £4.75)
Keeping
with the topic of nails, i have been loving this base coat from Sally
Hansen over the past month. Previously i found that certain nail
polishes stained my nails, which made my nails look terrible. Also, the
tips of my nails peel, meaning i can't grow them very long. However, i
found that this nail polish stops that, meaning I love it!
L'oreal Paris Studio line- Silk and Gloss Hot Straight spray (Boots- £3.56)
I
bought this product from Boots about 6 months about but at the time i
decided to try and use less heat on my hair. This meant i just let my
hair air dry and resulted in me not straighting my hair anymore. However
over the winter, i found my hair went frizzy if i just left it dry
naturally so i have resorted back to my straighteners. And to protect my
hair, i tried this product properly for the first time and it really
makes a difference! I spray it all over my hair just before I straighten
it and when I'm done, it leaves it very soft and sooth. It's just a
bonus that it protects my hair!
Garnier Simple Essentials 2 in 1 Make-up remover (Boots- £2.99)
As
i am getting older, I was starting to notice that using Simple face
wipes didn't remover all of my make-up and i found that if i wasn't
going in the shower afterwards, my waterproof make-up would be left on
my skin. So i decided to try a different make-up remover that was still
affordable. I found this one by Garnier in Asda
last month and find it works with my skin really well. It easily
removes my mascara and other tough make-up and I don't think i would go
back to make-up remover wipes.
That's all for my March 2013 Favourites, i hope you enjoyed eventhough it was a long one! If you have any questions about the products just leave a comment below. Also, if you have any suggestions that you think i will like, leave a comment!
Sarah xoxo
